January 2014

Well its now 27 days into January of 2014 and jeez has January been eventful for me!
My mum has been ill since last year so has been in and out of the doctors ever since luckily she is now getting back on her feet, my grandmother unfortunately died on the 4th from liver cancer, this was her second time battling cancer and unfortunately she couldn't win this battle. I had to quit one of my jobs due to the stress of two jobs, college getting too much for me. I officially came a green belt in kickboxing and training hard so I can move up to my blue belt quickly.

Lets hope February is a nice and quiet month for me and my family!

This is a photo from a photo shoot I had with B.E Photography, was a great day despite the rain and I can't wait to have her model for me again shortly in the future with her guitar. I will also be doing some modelling for her in the future for her a level photography project.

This is a photo from a photo shoot I had with the lovely KaiaRose! She was very easy to get along with and we managed to achieve some great photos however this is my favourite.

Here are a range of photos from the photo shoots stated above!

My blogs will probably very irregular due to mock exams and training a lot of kickboxing, no pain no gain!
Until next time Dawes Photography.

A new year, a new start!

My start to 2014 has been less than happy, unfortunately my grandmother died on the 4th of January, rest in peace nan. My mum was also in and out of hospital with pneumonia thankfully she is much better now and able to walk around again, one of my bosses as I have two jobs have been causing me more hassle then I can handle so I may have to hand in my resignation. Despite all this I have a very good feeling about this year, things can only get better.
Better they shall get!

I decided to get more creative with my camera as due to my depression catching up with homework is seemingly to be impossible so I'm diving in with my hobbies. This is a the heart effect which I quite enjoyed doing after I got the filter or wedding ring to stand up on the dictionary. I currently have a photo shoot planned with a very good friend of mine tomorrow which should be pretty fun as its alternative themed, I will also be modelling! Another photo shoot in the near future will involve fake blood, handcuffs and a baseball bat if I can find someone who can lend me one.

If you wish to lookie at some of my current work then please click here to go to my facebook page!

Until the next time I decide to blog.

Dawes photography returns

Been a very busy month for me so far been threatened a few times at one of my jobs so currently job hunting for another.
I've always got time for some photography though :)
This is a photo of a sunset token at roughly around 17:00, as you can see I have sun spots on the photo which lead me to buy density filters :) which arrived this morning four days ahead of schedule so this afternoon while some potential buyers looked around my house I went outside to give them a try.

This is the result with a density filter it gave my photo a nice purple tint which I think really works with the image no editing apart from the watermark was done in both photo's.
Next week I will be trying to get some nice long exposure photo's which will involve me being out at 4 am in the morning to capture the stars.
Hopefully the snow will visit my local area as that will result in some awesome photos for my scrap book :3

Till next time fellow bloggers x
